Ambrocio Richard Baca

Ambrocio Baca, 64, of Grand Junction, CO, passed away on the morning of July 3rd after a hospital stay. He was surrounded with love and comforted by family members as he left.

Ambrocio was preceded in death by his father, Benigno Baca, his mother, Adela Baca, his brothers, Joseph Baca, Anthony Baca, Esmeal Baca, and his sister, Patricia Baca.

Ambrocio is survived by his daughters, Ambrosia Baca and Tionna Baca, his son, Esaias Baca and granddaughter, Madalynn. Siblings include: Reina Barragan, Yolanda Torres, Mary Baca, Loretta Sepulveda, Irene Baca, Cecilia Baca, Johnny Baca, Debra Baca, and Sylvia Baca. Nephews and nieces are too many to list, but all very much loved by their uncle.

A private memorial will be held for family members at a later date in Las Cruces, NM.

Ambrocio was born in New Mexico and later moved to California. He graduated from school for mechanics and moved to Grand Junction, where he settled and made a life for himself. He enjoyed many things outdoors, some favorites being river rafting and three-wheeling in the mountains. He loved karaoke and made it part of his weekly routine to spend time with friends and sing his heart out. He was most happy when sharing meals or having coffee with loved ones. To him, family was everything and being a father and grandfather was the most important role he had ever held in life. He will be greatly missed and his family looks forward to the day when they will be reunited again in heaven.
