Bradley Kent Rickard

Bradley Rickard, age 68 of Palisade, Colorado, passed away on

September 16, 2021  after a courageous battle with cancer.  Brad was

born on August 10, 1953 in Wichita, Kansas.  He was a loving husband, father,  

grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  He is survived by his wife Karen of 42

years, daughter Sarah Galloway of Broomfield, Colorado; sisters Karen Hancock of

Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Sandi Wingert of Fairplay, Colorado; three very

special grandchildren, two nephews and one niece.  Brad was preceded in death

by his mother, Mauretta Chaplin, in 2014;  father, Leonard Rickard in 2001, son

Jason in 2019, and sister Treva in 2003.

Brad retired in 2019 from the engineering field and enjoyed spending time

outdoors.  His favorite pastimes were camping, fishing, biking, hiking, skiing,

ice skating, traveling and spending time with family. 

Clifton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  There will not be a service.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with family.  Memorial

contributions may be made to HopeWest.
