James "Jim" Lawrence Conner

James Lawrence Conner born July 26, 1941 lived life to the full until he peacefully went to sleep in death on July 18, 2022 

Jim was born in Moundsville, West Virginia to his parents Lawrence and Leola Conner. He was the middle child of the family. 

James is preceded in death by his (Mother) Leola Grimm Conner, (Father) Lawrence Walter Conner, (Son)Scott Lawrence Conner, (Daughter in Laws) Tammy Conner, Shannon Conner, (Grand daughter) Jessica Joann Gitchell (Heizer). James is survived by his (Wife) Joan Adele (Moore) Conner, (Son) Jeffery James Conner, (Daughter) Denise Adele (Conner) Heizer, Mark Heizer, (Son) Joseph Blaine Conner, Hannah Conner, 

Grandchildren, Ashley Ann Russell, Megan Conner, Amanda French-Manuel, Ben French, Silas Conner, Rachel Conner, Jasyn Heizer, Matthew Heizer, Markiss Heizer, 

Great Grand Children, Brielle Lynn Tucker, Carlie Rae Ann Russell, Laramie Michelle Russell, Keegan Russell, Chloee Russell, Adelena Russell, Sydnee Russell, Scottie Dunn, (Sister) Norma Lee (Conner) Thomas, Ronald Thomas, (Sister) Linda (Conner) Miller, Butch Miller, & family, Nephews Mike Thomas (deceased), Ann Thomas & family, Kathy Drake & family, 

James was a good ole country boy, working on the family farm. He liked to tell stories about milking cows & taking care of horses. 

James served in the Army during the Vietnam War and learned to operate heavy equipment. He later worked in a glass factory making fostoria glass, he then worked in the coal mines and retired from Twenty Mile. 

He and Joan were married on March 13, 1963. James worked hard for his family to make sure they always had what they needed. He took his family on many family trips and made their lives memorable! 

He will be deeply missed not only by his family, but by all who had the pleasure of meeting him!! He will never be forgotten!! 

 A visitation will be held on July 28, 2022 from 5pm-7pm at Clifton Funeral Home 3258 F Road Unit B Clifton, CO 81520.
