Jordan Turley

October 3, 1996 - August 20, 2022

Jordan Turley, beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away on August 20,
2022, in a rollover car accident on E Road and Duffy Drive in Grand Junction, CO. He
was a bright light extinguished too soon.
Jordan was born on October 3, 1996, in Spokane, WA. He was fun-loving, silly, and
goofy. He loved music and would sing and dance while waving his arms. He had a
contagious smile and could make anyone laugh. He loved his family and friends
unconditionally and was loyal to a fault. 
Jordan was a wonderful hard-working father who loved to go for hikes with his three
kids or just play on the trampoline. He loved the mountains and rivers and loved living
in Western Colorado.
Jordan attended Bookcliff Middle School, where he was a wrestling star and a football
stud playing for the Chiefs. He attended Central High School briefly and graduated from
R-5 High School. He worked as a plumber for Keenan & Plumbing and Heating in
Montrose, and most recently finished plumbing the new Montrose Police Department—a
job he was very proud of. He really was good at everything he did. He also had
experience insulating pipes, trimming trees, and roofing.
Jordan is survived by his mom and dad, Stacey and Jeremy Splude; his sister Jazmine
Story; and his three young children, Dreydon, Zayleigh, and Eliahsen. He is also
survived by his father, Jeremiah Turley, and his two brothers Isaiah and Luke Turley,
who live in Salt Lake City; grandparents Sharon Sears, Angela Turley, and Bruce Kettle;
great-grandparents Glenna Heatherington and Rosalie Waller; and lots of aunts, uncles
and cousins.
Nothing can fill the void he left behind. He will always be remembered by those he loved
and those who knew him. I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always. As long as I'm living, my baby you will be.
