Melinda D. Rubalcaba
April 25th, 1958 - January 3, 2021
Melinda Rubalcaba from Delta Colorado was born in Espanola, New Mexico. Her parents were Tilly Espinoza and Elvie Huff.  Melinda and her family moved to Colorado and she attended Delta and Montrose schools. She was in the ROTC and a contestant for Fiesta Queen.  She met the love of her life Wilfred Robert Rubalcaba and married him in 1975. They had four beautiful children, Robert Junior, Joseph(Ana), Jane(Chriz Hensley), and Christopher.  She was blessed with eight beautiful grandchildren, Julia, Mahala, Calladora, Isaiah, Joey, Carolina, Arianna, and Adrian.  She also leaves behind her brothers, Carlos, Clyde, Lawerence, Ricky, Louie and Danny and her sisters Belen and Sally and one deceased brother Phil.
She had a beautiful soul and she was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Services will be held on April 23, 2021 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Delta, Colorado with burial to follow at Delta Cemetery and a celebration of life will follow at Confluence Park.
