Robert "Rob" Eugene Reese

Robert "Rob" Eugene Reese, 65, passed away at his home in Whitewater, Colorado, on January 22, 2023. Rob was born on Mother's Day, May 12, 1957, to Gilbert Reese and Lucy DuPuis. He attended high school in Baker City, Oregon, and later moved to Union, Oregon, in 1973. He went to work for Davis Amusement Company until 1981 and then began working on the railroad as a laborer until he retired in 2010.

He married Rose Marie "Ash" Reese in December 1987 and they made their home in Union with her three children, Troy, Laurel, and Ty. He and his wife enjoyed traveling, attending county and state fairs, and watching race car events, particularly Sprint Cars.

Rob is survived by his brother, Michael Reese (Kathy), his sisters, Patti Wicklund (Dave) and Lorri Gilbert, and his stepsons, Troy Fallow and Ty Fallow and numerous uncles, cousins, and nephews, as well as one niece and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Reese; his mother, Lucy DuPuis; his wife of thirty-five years, Rose Marie Reese, and his stepdaughter, Laurel Fallow.

A memorial will be held on his birthday, May 12, 2023, at 1:00 PM, at the Olney Cemetery in Pendleton, Oregon.
